The Secret of Sleep That Improves Memory.


People believe that 7 or 8 hours of continuous sleep without waking up at night is good for health, but a new study has come up with a unique result. The University of Copenhagen in Denmark reported that waking up at night during sleep is a sign of good sleep.

This study in mice discovered that the stress-related hormone noradrenaline wakes the brain up several times a night.
